"Very good and easy to work with."
Rebecca England’s journey to recovery at The Oaks at Battle Creek is a story of determination and resilience. After breaking her right ankle and fracturing her left ankle, she found herself unable to walk or even climb stairs, tasks that were once second nature to her. Before her injuries, Rebecca led an active life filled with cooking, gardening, walking her dog, and caring for her birds. However, the fractures left her confined to a wheelchair, unable to bear weight on her right foot or manage daily activities independently.
When Rebecca began her therapy, her goal was simple yet significant: she wanted to walk again. With the support of her skilled and easy-to-work-with therapists, she worked tirelessly toward that goal. Her progress was steady, and Rebecca found herself not only regaining her strength but also enjoying the camaraderie of group therapy, which provided encouragement and motivation along the way.
Today, Rebecca is walking again, free from the wheelchair, and reclaiming the independence she worked so hard to achieve. Her success highlights the exceptional care she received and the perseverance that fueled her recovery, allowing her to return to the activities she loves.
