Since 2013 as PCA Pharmacy, Trent has served numerous roles, from a dual role as a consultant and internal operations pharmacist in Louisville, to home office as the Director of Business Analytics in 2015, all the way to Vice President of Administration for Synchrony Health Services. As VP of Admin, Trent supports the LTC Pharmacy Procurement, Regulatory and Government Affairs departments, along with the Synchrony Lab Services business lines where developed and leads the Synchrony Rx@HOME program.
In addition, Trent currently is a board member on the Cardinal Health LTC Advisory Board, the MHA LTC Advisory Board, and the Bellarmine University Senior Living Leadership Strategic Advisory Council. He also is the adjunct Board member representing Synchrony Pharmacy’s interests on the Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition (SCPC) Board.
Prior to joining Synchrony Health Services, Trent completed an ASHP/AMCP accredited managed care residency with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in Nashville, TN. Trent received his MBA and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky.
Trent Blacketer joined PCA Pharmacy in 2013, and has served numerous roles during his time with the organization. He started in a dual role as a consultant pharmacist and internal operations pharmacist for the Louisville pharmacy. In 2015, he transitioned into the PCA Home Office as the Director of Business Analytics. There, he led the development of a multi-site purchasing strategy and growth of a data analytics department. He also oversaw the start-up of the current Southern Indiana location. In 2017, he moved back into operations as the Executive Director for the Louisville business unit. During his time as ED, he managed the operation while the Indianapolis pharmacy was opened and the central/northern IN customers were successfully transitioned from Louisville to the Indianapolis business unit. In 2019, he was brought back into the Home Office as AVP of Administration and Procurement, supporting the enterprise Procurement, Regulatory, and IT/IS teams.
Currently, Trent is the Vice President of Administration for Synchrony Health Services. He developed and leads the Synchrony Rx@HOME Pharmacy and the Synchrony Lab Services business lines. He also supports the LTC Pharmacy Procurement, Regulatory and Gov’t Affairs departments.
