Marilyn received her Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. With more than 26 years of experience as a clinician, she has provided patient care, management, and clinical support in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, outpatient private practice, acute care and home health.
Marilyn has served more than 16 years at Synchrony Rehab, as a Program Director and Clinical Support Specialist before advancing to her current role as Vice President of Rehab Clinical Services. Her expertise includes successful medical review outcomes and appeals management as well as clinical education focusing on quality documentation and Medicare regulations for Synchrony’s team members and partners. She is a member of the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care (NASL) in which she serves on the Medical Services Committee, AAPACN (American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing), AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association) and IOTA (Indiana Occupational Therapy Association).
